Originally, Ac•Rock was conceived as an act for adults.
But we kept hearing that people who loaned our CD to their kids couldn't
get it back! It started us thinking.
We realized that our music had a strong appeal for young people and when we performed at the Centre East Showcase, the response was enthusiastic. Ac•Rock quickly became one of the most popular school assembly programs in the midwest.

We're now starting our 15th season of singing in schools. We perform over 100 school shows every year. Grade schools, middle schools and high schools have all been delighted by the freewheeling mix of music, humor and history. Students and teachers rave that Ac•Rock proves "singing is cool"
The show is a big hit at family nights and fundraisers, too!
Each performance is tailored to be age-appropriate for the audience. A typical Ac•Rock school presentation discusses the origins of a cappella singing, considers how humans first learned to sing, introduces basic musical concepts and gets the entire audience involved, singing and clapping along - all while enjoying a musical overview of rock 'n roll from the fifties to the nineties, from boys choirs to rap.

The show runs 45 minutes and is fully self-contained (we bring our own sound). Ac•Rock programs include Workshops, Master Classes and Clinics. Custom shows and programs referencing Character Counts are also available.
All five Ac•Rock CDs are available for fundraising.
